Painting with acrylics, the first attempt.
This is my first attempt to paint with acrylics. I use a limit palette, two colors, blue and red. I got darker areas adding black and lighter areas adding white. Even though I used a slow-dri blending gel to avoid the acrylic to dry to fast, I had to work very quickly to get good combinations. Acrylics on canvas, size 38”x26

Este es mi primer intento de pintar con acrílicos. Usé una paleta limitada, dos colores, azul y rojo. Conseguí areas más oscuras agregando negro y areas mas iluminadas agregando blanco. A pesar que use un retardador para evitar que el acrílico se seque rápido, Conseguí conbinaciones interesantes. Tamaño 38”x26”

Proyecto de El Mundo de Fantasía

A project of the collection 'The Fantasy World'
This is the project of the Collection I'm working on and it is almost done. First, sketches, roughs, storm ideas, then, I draw the illustration on canvas. This is the first layer of paint. I paint big strokes of color, all the canvas must be colored. After, I go again painting the second layer of oils. Never paint just one part of the illustration. Paint simultaneously all the illustration. 20 minutes here, then 20 minutes there, all the work at once.


Proyecto de El Mundo de Fantasía
Este es el proyecto de la colección El Mundo de Fantasía que está casi listo. Primero bocetos a lápiz, luego viene el trabajo en la tela. Esta es la primera mano de óleos. Son trazos sueltos con el pencil, trazos largos, espontáneos. Toda la tela la lleno de color, no dejo nada en blanco. Luego vendrá la segunda pasada de óleo. Pinto por partes. Primero aquí, luego allá. Nunca termines una sola parte. La pintura se avanza en forma simultánea.
